Can I simply swap out my Steam key for a Switch key instead of an add-on?
Unfortunately, without getting into the nitty gritty, this would actually hurt the campaign’s funding because Switch keys would be quite expensive to secure. I’ll be offering the Switch keys at a significant discount as an add-on, however.

When will I get the survey for my rewards and/or bonus items?
The survey typically arrives within a couple weeks after the campaign is over! Running a campaign is a full-time gig, so thank you so much for your patience. For those of you who came from another campaign, I’ll be cross-checking your user account to be sure you came from said campaign.

Do rewards include Switch keys?
Rewards do not include Switch keys. They only include Steam or GOG keys. The ability to swap a Steam key for a Switch key is not feasible either. I will however offer an add-on Switch key to any pledge at or above $15 (or $10 if you Early Birded) at a nice, Kickstarter-Exclusive discount! This will be available once I send out the surveys! Without getting into the nitty gritty, the ability to simply swap out a Steam key for a Switch key will end up being quite expensive, and hurt the funding for the campaign and the campaign’s overall intention of raising funds for production of the game.

Erik. Coburn. Serenity. Forge. I cannot stress enough how supportive these guys are. They’ve given me a bit of funding (obviously, I still need a bit more), and they’ve also been hard at work coding Pete’s strange little world. That said, I’m doing the art, design, music, and story.

In order for me to send you the free stuff, payments must be processed at the end of the campaign. That is after the campaign is completed. If I purchase the playable character, will anyone in the world be able to play as me?
Yes! Our current plan is for players to find hidden tokens that give you new outfits and accessories. The outfits will be named after you, and they can choose to wear the outfit, looking just like you :)

Will Xbox and PS4 keys be available as rewards or add-ons?
If we hit our goal, unfortunately I can’t guarantee this! I’ll do my best, but right now, it seems Switch is the only add-on I’ll be providing as the campaign wraps up! I hope you understand. It’s super tough to secure PS4 and Xbox keys on such short notice. That said, if we hit our goal, there will be a launch discount when the game is released on console, and I’ll be sure to let you know when it happens!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
