Gah my eye won't stop twitching! I think I'm worn out and kind of stressed! Looking forward to taking a nice day or two off when the campaign wraps up, but we're only half-way there folks! Side note: It's so pretty outside. Birds be chirpin, and some trees are actually blooming! Excited for Spring. Man... even though I'm tired, I'm so lucky I get to hang out in my studio and make games with the window open! Super grateful.
What I've Learned About Prequels, Sequels, and Reboots
If Star Wars has taught me anything, It's do not, under any circumstances, change the fundamentals of what makes your story amazing! So, for those of you who loved the original Coma, what are some things that really stuck with you, and made you love the game? Comment below!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all having an awesome Sunday! TBH Sundays aren't my fave because it always meant school/work was tomorrow! Does anyone else feel that way? That said, I'm super excited about next week, because I have a feeling we're going to hit the Epic Skateboard & Park Stretch Goal!
Thanks everyone! Sorry for the short update! Trying to take some time off today with my wife and daughter, and get back at it tomorrow!
Warmly,

I first want to say thank you for being so engaged on Twitter. I'm honestly surprised every day I refresh my Twitter and see you guys blowing things up!
There's no better way to spend a Saturday than trying our very best to get to the top of the list for #ScreenshotSaturday! I've actually never been able to do this, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to help? All it takes is a quick retweet :) Click below, and bam!
Last year felt pretty dire for a lot of indie devs. It seemed the indie scene was fading, and AAA companies were, again, in control. I for one, as you know, was ready to throw in the towel. Sadly, the indie scene felt like a fad that people were kind of sick of. But after the EA debacle, and some other not-so-pretty micro-transaction stories, I think the importance of indie game development shined brighter than ever. For me, indie game developers are willing to take risks and bring strange, new, and unproven ideas to the table, just like Nintendo, Atari, and Rareware did in the 80s and 90s.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Honestly, this whole "indie thing" would be over if it wasn't for you. Thank you for pledging $70,000 to my little adventure. I promise to keep it honest, real, heartfelt, unique, and above all, indie.
The legendary Jim Sterling did an incredible job discussing the importance of indies, and the death spiral of the AAA scene's "Live Services" model. Oh, and he mentions my last game Pinstripe as a wonderful little indie title doing things the right way :)
Thanks again everyone!
Be sure to retweet the gif above if you feel it's worthy of your time!
Shoutout for Achtung! Just 26 Hours To Go!
Check out this awesome game, and continue the amazing support of indies! Fight the Nazis AND the spawn of Cthulhu in this exciting action/strategy/RPG game set in the award winning Achtung! Cthulhu universe.

Poll: Choose One Song On Repeat... FOREVER. Go!

Without spoiling too much, Once Upon A Coma is about childhood, and specifically, how certain songs stick with us our entire lives. So, I need some ideas!
What song would you be willing to listen to on repeat forever and ever, and why? GO!
I've been having such a blast writing some new music, and thinking on how to expand Reddington Field. I realized running through a field has got to be one of my favorite things to do in a game, so I'm planning on expanding the field on the left side of the map. I'm thinking I may even add a river and a bridge. I've also been in communication with Erik about enemy structures! We're having a blast building a universal enemy class that can pretty much do anything :) It's super exciting, and I can't wait to share with you some gifs!
